The Story in Every Jar: Our Raw Honey
Our honey isn’t just made; it’s forged from the very landscape we call home.
In the height of summer, our wildflower meadow transforms into a vibrant, buzzing tapestry. Our bees forage freely across acres of native blooms, gathering nectar from sweet clover, bright blue cornflowers, scarlet poppies, and oxeye daisies, alongside delicate vetch and soothing chamomile. Because our bees visit such a diverse variety of flora, every single harvest carries a completely unique, complex flavour profile that tastes exactly like a British summer afternoon.
Looked After by Us, Loved by the Bees
Beekeeping at Manor Hive is a true family affair. Together with our boys, we tend to the hives with a deep respect for these incredible pollinators. We view ourselves as partners with our bees, which means our harvesting process is guided by care, not commercial pressure.
When it comes time to harvest, we take only the surplus. We ensure that we always leave plenty of honey in the hives for the bees to successfully overwinter, keeping the colony healthy, happy, and well-fed during the cold months.
Our honey is extracted by hand, entirely unpasteurized, and coarsely strained to preserve all the natural pollen and goodness. It’s raw, seasonal, and made with love from our hive to yours.
